Lumen Christi

This is also my birthday, and it is an excellent day to work for peace. Among other things let us consider working to free Muntazer Al-Zaidi (especially since Bush has “no hard feelings”) and to get out of Iraq, Barack!

I am feeling interestingly light. Here comes part of the 2007 Christmas concert given at the Basilica of Santa Maria del Popolo, Saint Mary OF THE PEOPLE, in Rome.

Here is the Piazza del Popolo, where the church stands, with its lion fountain.

Axé.

  1. I know what you mean about that lightness. Sometimes I feel that way, but not right now.
Enjoy your birthday and the holidays.

Happy Birthday and Merry Christmas, Professor Zero!

  3. It is so predictable to be ‘depressed’ during the holidays and of course others attribute your mood to ‘the holidays’ nothing more. Therefore I am not calling yesterday’s malaise ‘depression.’ It was and it is not now….having passed. I am preoccupied at present with the grinding hum of the weed blower next door. I am reminded life always goes on with insistent clublike feet. it is unhealthy to take any of it too seriously…Happy birthday to you.
