Carne de tu carne

Have you ever seen any Carlos Mayolo films? I just saw Carne de tu carne and was not impressed — I get the point, the bourgeoisie are vampires and their crimes have been covered, but the directly Freudian La mansión de Araucaima sounds more original and also funnier. What do you think — and have you seen any of Mayolo’s shorter films?

Carnaval

This is Carnaval weekend. I am going to spend it looking for my cat. If it is his body I find, I hope he looks as peaceful as Eurydice, at minute 6:30 of this clip.
